Bridge of Grace Staff

Javier Mondragon

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

“Growing up, there was a church in my neighborhood, very close to where we gathered to drink. People would walk past us on their way to services. We heard music and saw them pass again as they left, never stopping to either speak to us or invite us to their church. That experience has shaped my ministry and the mission of Bridge of Grace. We will not only open our doors, but we will actively pursue them and tell the story that can change their lives forever.”

Pastor Javier holds a master of ministry degree from Olivet Nazarene University, is a professor of Community Development and Urban Ministries at Indiana Wesleyan University, and serves on various local and regional boards.

RÉNA BRADLEY

Community Development Director

“As a designer and community activist, I am excited to use design as a tool to share the love of Christ as well as mobilize youth, residents, and volunteers who want to make a difference in our neighborhood.”

As a graduate of Howard University and a former Detroit Revitalization Fellow, Réna’s experience in private, nonprofit, and public sectors has taught her that design is a tool to develop not only places but also a sense of well-being, unity, and joy in individuals and communities.

ROSE CARO

Resource Development Director

“I believe in demonstrating Christ in action and I believe that the strongest witness is that of unconditional love. After many years of experience in missions and outreach ministries, it is a joy to be serving others and serving God in the Mount Vernon Park neighborhood through Bridge of Grace.”

Rose holds degrees in Church Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, and Leadership & Ethics from Nazarene Bible College. She is currently pursuing her MPA in Non Profit Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. She also serves as the Associate Pastor and missions board president at Many Nations Church.

David Grim

General Construction Coordinator

“Sometimes affirming one's passions is harder than learning just the skills.  It's been true for me.  In my career I've enjoyed being a construction laborer and a site leader.  I've been lucky enough to work in both the private and public sectors in engineering and construction management.  And now my call into church ministry at large has rounded me out into construction ministry.  I am so thankful!  I get to do what I love in a way that loves.  God's timing is always right.”

David holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering and runs a construction consulting business.  He is currently completing his Master's in Divinity as a member of the United Church of Christ.  David's passions are about celebrating God's long-standing love in communities through the tools of construction and handy-work.

Stacie Harvey

Stacie graduated from Grace College and Seminary with two BA degrees, in Intercultural Studies and Urban Ministries. She spent her senior year in Philadelphia, PA, at an urban ministry and now plans to work in nonprofit ministries. She is currently pursuing a degree from University of Saint Francis in Organizational Leadership.
