BRIDGE OF GRACE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS

The mission of our afterschool program is to build relationships that nurture and inspire students to fulfill their potential.

Our goal is to nurture and inspire students in an encouraging environment where mentoring relationships are fostered. We aim to develop spiritual growth, positive character values, and reading skills through spiritual lessons, creative activities, and visits with various creative and career professionals. We work with families, teachers, and volunteers to build a strong foundation so students will dream big for their future.

We serve students of Levan Scott Academy in 1st-5th grades by providing free afterschool programming each day (Monday- Thursday) from 3:30pm – 5:30pm.

  • We are a safe place to be encouraged, experience new learning opportunities and to build positive relationships with mentors.
  • Students commit to participating on a semester basis, with the possibility of adding new students quarterly, if room in the program exists.
  • Volunteers can participate in a variety of roles and time commitments during the school year. Mentors and group leaders ideally commit to 1-4 days weekly for the school year.
  • Shorter-term commitments could include leading worship or devotional time, leading an enrichment activity, being a guest speaker.
