College & High School Internship Opportunities:


Interns accepted will be working with students in our Afterschool Program and gain experience in their related area of interest/study - education, social services, non-profit work, community development, cross cultural studies, children’s ministry, etc.

Benefits:

  • Participation in opportunities for mentorship and leadership development provided at additional times.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Semester or yearlong commitment, minimum two days a week from 3:30-5:30pm 
  • Attend training dates for all volunteers (prior to beginning internship) 
  • Mentoring elementary age children 
  • Helping children stay on task, focused, and on schedule in rotation style programming. 
  • Participate and keep children engaged in educational games/activities/projects. 
  • Assisting children with reading skills and proficiency 
  • Work in a team environment and take instruction, under the program director's supervision.
